got cjson working

johnd
Ubuntu has a cjson 1.5.  I need 1.3.

so I built cjson 1.3 from source and it I can now run the simple rpc
server from the contrib stuff

Now, I have a new problem...
I can run this code on the client:

var rpc = new qx.io.remote.Rpc(
    "http://localhost:8000/qooxdoo/.qxrpc",
    "qooxdoo.test"
);

try {
    var result = rpc.callSync("echo", "Test");
    alert("Result of sync call: " + result);
} catch (exc) {
    alert("Exception during sync call: " + exc);
}
      });

I get this: on the client:
Exception during sync call: Error: Transport error 0: Unknown status
code. Possibly due to application URL using 'file:' protocol?

this on the server:
localhost - - [24/Feb/2011 10:40:53] code 501, message Unsupported
method ('OPTIONS')
localhost - - [24/Feb/2011 10:40:53] "OPTIONS
/qooxdoo/.qxrpc?nocache=1298572853065 HTTP/1.1" 501 -

  Your browser will stop sending 'OPTIONS' when you put the server on HTTP's standard port 80. At least that was the resolution in the previous discussion.
