I've a problem with a progress bar in a complex widget. I wrote a small example to reproduce this issue:

I want to design a widget that contains a progress bar. But somehow the background is not set properly if the progress bar is in another widget and no therefore the progress is not visible. Adding the progress bar directly to a window or composite works fine.

Any ideas around there? Thank you for your suggestions!

Hi Leo,

you need to provide an appearance for "fileprogress". Probably you just want to map it to the appearance of the progress bar, using a child control alias. See [1] and especially [2]

thank you for the quick reply. I reread the chapters twice again. I
think I understood the theming stuff a bit better now :-)
It works as you suggested. A simple alias was enough.
