so what exacly is the issue? i can see a black gradiant towards the left
of the dialogue, both in the upper left and lower left corner. also, the
decoration of the horizontal scroll bar icons seem to be garbled. what
exactly are you pointing at?

Hi,

if it's the weird gradient you're talking about, Matthew Gregory also
reported a problem with gradients appearing at the edge of the display
pane in Firefox 3 about two weeks ago. We believe it's a Firefox issue.

Could you post a code snippet so we can see if it's the same problem?

Regards,
Daniel

Please find attach
- qxd_ie6.jpg (which is a part of the displayed screen in IE 6)
- qxd_ff306.jpg (which is the same part as above but display in Firefox
3.0.6)

Normally the display must match the one displayed as in IE 6.

Thanks.

Daniel,

Please find attach the source code of my display.
I use the 0.8.1 version of the qooxdoo framework.

The following methods are those who corresponding to 2 images attached.

Solved: Display problem.

In reply to this post by geoffre
Hello,

I solved my problem, which is due by using an initial script (the one
which start all the application and define the resource used) compiled
with the 0.8.0 SDK, recopy and use with the 0.8.1 SDK.

Sorry, and thanks for your help.

Regards.

There is nothing wrong with your code, It looks like a problem with
qooxdoo's combined images and the generated meta data for the images.
This would explain that IE6 is OK because in IE6 we cannot use combined
images. Have you changed any of the qooxdoo theme images or have you
used combined images in your own project?

To check whether the combined images is really the problem you could try
one of these:

1. Regenerate the combined imaged: This requires thet you have
ImageMagick installed on your computer. Then go the the framework folder
"QOOXDOO/framework" and run the commangs:
      ./generate.py image-clipping
      ./generate.py image-combine

2. Download a fresh qooxdoo 0.8.1 SDK and point the qooxdoo path in your
"config.json" to the new qooxdoo installation.

After that rebuild your application and check whether the artefacts are
gone.

Best Fabian

That is very strange,
I saw in your other post that you have fixed this now. The gradient that
is showing in the top and bottom of your picture is the exact same
gradient that mysteriously appeared for us! But I can't find this
gradient in any of the source images.

I think this is deffinately a firefox problem.
