Commit feed with diffs

Gaetan de Menten
These days I'm used to follow quite a few projects commits through
feeds. Most of them are using trac and thus the link they provide is
to the diff of the changeset. Wouldn't it be possible to have
something like that for qooxdoo too? It makes it easier to follow what
actually happens when the commit message (or the name of the file
being modified) rouse your interest.

Sourceforge's ViewVC has something in that vein, like
http://qooxdoo.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/qooxdoo?view=rev&revision=17450

Does anybody know how to tweak SF's mails into incorporating such links?!

Ah, silly me, those links are already part of the commit message. I
presume you are looking for all diffs on one page, like a unified diff,
right?!

But wait, this is already a part of the commit message. - So what is it
you are looking for?!

Hi Gaëtan,

you can use this feed (I guess it is powered by cia.vc) and combine
the revision number with Thomas' links:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/qooxdoo/svn/commits

Cheers,
Jonathan

A link to those within the commit feed.

I already use that feed (I probably should have mentioned it). And
that's the point of my query: that feed doesn't links to the diffs,
which means you have to manually go to sourceforge site, find qooxdoo
project, and find the correct revision... Way too much work for a
"quick check"...

Re: Commit feed with diffs

Hi Gaëtan,

I slapped together a Yahoo pipe that replaces the revision numbers in
the commit feed' items with links to the sourceforge SVN view:

http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=fqtZxB3t3RGydrWV_w6H4A

You'll have to load it in your feed reader to see the links.
Is that what you were looking for?

Regards,
Daniel

Yep. Thanks a lot. I didn't know yahoo pipes... Clever...
